Current diet in progress- The Dash diet
I am currently starting the DASH diet. While this diet seems complex with lots of reading and studying to do, the overall point of the diet is lots of fruits and veggies along with calorie counting. So basically... eating healthy with a small amount of fats.
This reminds me of the food pyramid we teach elementary school students. Eat lots of good stuff and greens, and only a small amount of fats. A very complicated way to say eat a balanced meal (wow and someone made millions off this concept by renaming it "DASH").
